Holiday Bazaar Wrap Up from A Bird in the Hand Art

Jenny included several great craft fair tips in her blog post about one of her recent shows.  She had a bowl of free candy on her table.  How easy and appealing would that be?  She also added free stickers and buttons.  I love the idea of having advertising merchandise besides business cards for my customers.  Finally, she had a QR scan code.  Although I won't be implementing any of these ideas at my show this weekend, I have this post bookmarked for my 2012 shows!

Perforations are a great option for flyers, coupons, and more.  Jessica provides two different methods for perforations: either a sewing machine method or a rotary cutter method.  As many of my readers already own one or both of these devices, this technique shouldn't be too expensive to attempt.

Friday Feature: Christmas II and show information

As promised, before I get to my regularly scheduled feature post, I'm posting my show information for my final 2011 show.  I have a booth at Christmas in the Country in Cedarburg, WI today, tomorrow, and Sunday (December 2-4).  The locations and hours and posted on the web site.  My booth will be in the museum.  If you are in the Milwaukee area, please consider stopping by.  It's a huge event.  Cedarburg has lots of other sites and shopping as well.

November Top Droppers and December News

It's a new month, which means that it's time to thank my Top Droppers and Commenters once again and let you know what's going on with my shop next month.  Thanks to everyone who made November a great month for me!  I had a record number of Etsy sales and a landslide record number of shop views.  I have many of you to thank for that!

TOP DROPPERS
As a lot of you know, it's been a terrible month for Entrecard.  After the entire site had major problems for a couple weeks and was then completely down for over two days, everything came back up with no message whatsoever.  I understand that these things happen, but users should be notified and ideally, given something like free credits to make up for the lost time.  I seriously have no idea why I'm still there.  But for now, I am.
