Treasury Round Up - 5/5/13

I am so fortunate to be included in so many amazing treasuries every week! Please help me thank these treasury curators by checking out their collections and their shops. There are a ton of great Mother's Day gift ideas in this round up. If you haven't found a gift yet, check them out.

Cynthia (AntiquityTravelers) included my Beaded Bracelet - Black and White Shell in her (Black) & White Wedding treasury. Normally I'm not a big fan of black and white for weddings, but this collection may convince me to reconsider it. Check out Cynthia's Murano Glass Necklace with Bamboo Coral.

Linda (lindab142) included my Beaded Bracelet - Dotted Red Orange Yellow in her Mother's Day gift ideas treasury. This colorful collection has something for everyone. Check out Linda's Emerald Green Heart Sterling Silver Earrings.

Linda (AbigailJayneArt) included my Button Dangle Earrings - Bright Colorful Multicolored Rainbow in her Mom's Day Ideas treasury. In case, you didn't get enough Mother's Day ideas from the last collection, you'll be more than covered now. Check out Linda's Buttons and Texture Galore Art Cuff.

Natasha (StalkingTheWildSnark) included my Beaded Wrap Bracelet Necklace - Intertwining Green Leaves in her Emerald Mint treasury. Pairing these two shades of green is brilliant. Check out Natasha's Green English Ivy Real Leaf Nature Woodland Earrings Hypoallergenic.

Margaret (SplendidLittleStars) included my Beaded Wrap Bracelet Necklace - Pink in her pink! treasury. This is such a romantic collection. Check out Margaret's HEART T shirt.

Marta (MartaJewelry) included my Beaded Rope Bracelet - Triple Strand - Purple, Turquoise Blue, Pink in her Awesome spring day treasury. Pastel palettes are perfect for spring. Check out Marta's Bead crochet necklace - Crochet rope - Multi-colored Colorful Bright Mosaic Summer.

Deb (storybeader) included my Beaded Bracelet - Silver Links - Celestial Stars Moons Purple in her heavy metal treasury. It is fascinating to see just a few of the ways that people use metal in their artwork. Check out Deb's Art Journal - blue and brown junque journal.

Aleka and Georgia (FishesMakeWishesHome) included my Button Charm Bracelet - Hearts Girly Pink Purple Red White Valentine's Day in their Just Like Mom... treasury. This is one of the most adorable, whimsical Mother's Day collections I've ever seen. Too awesome. Check out Aleka and Georgia's Pink clay house - display miniature house - home decor.

Linda (lindab142) included my Beaded Bangle Bracelet - A Material Girl's True Colors 80s Neon Bright Multicolored in her Handmade for A Queen treasury. I'm honored that one of my items ended up in a collection with this name. Check out Linda's Amber Quartz Gemstones Bracelet.

MelissaLulu included my Beaded Cuff Bracelet - Strawberry Fields Forever in her Strawberry Summer treasury. I always enjoy finding this piece in strawberry collections. MelissaLulu is a buyer only, but check out the Red Head Scarf from her favorites.

Natasha (StalkingTheWildSnark) included my Beaded Necklace - Round Stone Amazonite Focal - Light Blue and Champagne in her For Mother's Day treasury. I love the soft color palette here. There is something for everyone. Check out Natasha's Music Lover's Sheet Music Notes Mixed Metal Hammered Copper Nickel Silver Earrings.

April Top Commenters and May News

Happy May!
I am so excited for a new month with more free time and hopefully some continuing warm weather (finally!).

Top Commenters
As always, I really appreciate all of the feedback that I get on this blog. It means a lot that so many people take time to share their insights with me.  Thanks to Grace of Dragon's Alley for stopping by and commenting regularly! Check out goodies from some of my other top commenters who are selling their handmade items online.

Blog Sponsors and May Advertising
I have an awesome round up of blog sponsors!  These lovely ladies all have Etsy shops and/or blogs.  Check them out on the left hand side of my blog under "Private Sponsors." Would you like to join the them?  It's only $3 per month or $10 for 4 months to advertise with me.  Check out all of the details about it right here.

Out With the Old Sale
I cannot even tell you how happy it would make me to see even one or two of these older pieces go to new homes in the near future. I'll keep my Out With the Old Sale going through Christmas in July. Take advantage of these great deals on handmade beaded pieces while you can.

Bring It On May!
  • I am wrapping up with choir, handbells, and Bible study (until the fall) in the next couple weeks. I'm looking forward to purchasing a new camera lens (still looking at this one) and getting out with my camera a lot more often. I made a list of a couple dozen places that I'd like to photograph in the greater Milwaukee area between May and October and hope to hit one or two every week.
  • Significantly building my SLR portfolio is part of my plan to launch serious photography selling. I'll be sharing more on that during the next few months, but one of the first steps is that I'm planning to open a paid SmugMug account this month and get it ready to open to the public by early June. That may be too ambitious, but I'm pretty confident that I can get it open and running with a respectable amount of inventory this summer.
  • All of my hard work to keep both seasonal and non-seasonal traffic going on HubPages during a slower time of year is paying off. My traffic numbers have remained more than double what they were this time last year. I'm hoping that I can keep these numbers going through the summer.
What is going on with your blog and/or business for May?
