Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!
I'm keeping it short and simple today with photos of some of the yield signs on the VA grounds. There are a million yield signs in Milwaukee, but I thought that these grounds provided a neat backdrop. Hopefully you do, too. Enjoy.
Check out what the other Alphabe Thursday participants posted for the letter Y this week right here!
I like the yellow ones better than the red ones...never thought of that before :)
ReplyDeleteI like the first shot with the ground for the backdrop as well as the last one with the beautiful blue sky!
I really like the composition of the second one...
ReplyDeleteyield signs! perfect!
ReplyDeleteYep, yield is a great Y! There must be times of lots of traffic on the VA Grounds if they need yield signs.
ReplyDeleteVery creative. The first one and the last one are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteThey do have a creative background. Love the lines created from the headstones.
ReplyDeleteThe juxtaposition of the yield sign with the military cemetery is striking.
ReplyDeleteLest we forget.
ReplyDeleteSobering to see so many memorials to the veterans! The pattern in the second photo is very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteAnd, on another completely different note... by the time I read the last sign, my brain thought that it was spelled wrong. lol
it's a funny looking word. Essential though... {:-D
ReplyDeleteI like those yellow ones too -- a retro look!
ReplyDeleteWhoops! Wrong blog -- should have been Magnolia Surprise (who also thinks the yellow signs are retro looking!
DeleteVery cool! You found some great backgrounds for the yield signs.
ReplyDeleteYes, these yield signs yank at the heart strings made of yarn...
ReplyDeleteThis is yet again the perfect time of year, to show they are not forgotten yet...
Thanks for linking to the letter "Y"...
