O is for Old World Wisconsin

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

Earlier this summer I made my second ever excursion to Old World Wisconsin. This time I got to take Jake, who had never been before, so that was neat. Enjoy.

If you want to see a few more glimpses of Old World Wisconsin, check out my posts from last summer's excursion here and here.

photo share: Old World Wisconsin

Do you remember my preview of Old World Wisconsin from earlier this month? I'm still sorting through my huge collection of photos from that particular outing and wanted to share a few more of them today. Enjoy.

There is something so classic about a white picket fence.

Taking photos like this makes me want to do so much more with food photography.

Still photographing eggs...

There are not many things that I miss about living in Iowa, but one of them is the animals. I drove by cows and horses on my work commute and loved the wide range of baby animals at the Iowa State Fair.

What have you been photographing lately?

I is for Iron

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

Earlier this month I did an all day excursion with a friend to Old World Wisconsin. At some point while we were there, I realized that I had a bunch of pictures of irons and decided it would be fun to make a little series of it. It didn't occur to me until later that I could use them for the letter I.

As you can imagine I took a crazy number a lot of photos during the day. Old World Wisconsin presented so many fantastic opportunities for photo taking. I'm cheating a little bit today and sharing a few non-iron photos as well. I still have so many to go through, but I couldn't resist pulling a few favorites.

And now on to our featured item for this week...
