December BBA Giveaway and a couple other holiday giveaways

One of the features of the Blogging Business Artisans group is that we do a monthly giveaway.  Our November winner was very lucky to receive a pair of personalized wine glasses from Edi.  This month, one winner will receive a set with a kitty necklace, earrings, and loose beads from Deb of storybeader.

There are a couple other awesome giveaways going on right now elsewhere.  The first one is the 2011 Holiday Gift Guide and Giveaway from A Little Etsy Love.  Many of the items featured are included in the huge giveaway prize.  I am not giving away my Christmas leaf bracelet, but it is in the future.  If you're still looking for handmade Christmas gifts, this is a great resource.  The giveaway runs through December 7 so get your entries in now.

I have a couple more awesome giveaways to mention this week.

The first one is another giveaway over at Amy's (PonderandStitch) blog.  This time she's hosting a giveaway for a full moon cracked quartz necklace from heartsabustin.  Her shop is full of wonderful, simple pieces with gemstones, precious metal clay, swarovskis, and wire wrapping.  Check out all of the details for this giveaway right here.  Deadline: June 15 7:30 AM CST.

Normally I don't post a lot of giveaways here, but there have been several I've come across lately that I thought were worth sharing.  Check them out!

new Christmas piece, giveaways, snow day happenings

I listed my last new Christmas item for this season (I think!).


A couple of my favorite Etsy sellers are having giveaways right now. The first one is Kristen (KMStudioDOTcom) who is giving away one of her horses (like this one) that she will make into a magnet or brooch for you. I don't have any new pictures of progress or other new items besides the Christmas one above. I had a snow day today, though (and I'm going to have another one tomorrow!), and I took pictures of a few things that happened at home during the day.

I made pretzel rolls for the first time. For those of you who don't know, I like to cook, and I love to bake. This is something that I've wanted to try for a while, and they turned out awesome! The only problem is that the recipe only makes 12, and my husband and I ate half of them this afternoon/evening haha.

Angel decided that she wanted to go out on the porch a couple times today. She made little prints in the snow, which is about the cutest thing ever.

I tried to get a shot of her when she went out the second time tonight, but of course she started coming in when I got my camera out. I think that this is still cute, though. And you can see some of our outdoor Christmas lights.
