photo share: revisiting the Red Rock Canyon

Some of you may remember that Jake and I went to Las Vegas back in February. I am finally finally wrapping up my Las Vegas photo editing. It's ridiculous that it's taken me this long, but it's also been fun revisiting parts of our trip throughout the past six months. One of my favorite parts about this vacation was going to Red Rock Canyon. If you are ever out that way, please take a day or half a day and check it out. These photos will convince you that it's well worth it.

Saturday is Caturday

Are you ready to start your weekend with an amazing round up of kitty photos?

Enjoying an old Seinfeld episode.

Apparently it's more fun to sleep on a wet towel than any other spot in the house.

Apollo is allergic to Ares's prescription food. Sometimes he sneaks food and then gets these huge breakouts that take forever to heal because he won't leave them alone.

What have your cats been up to lately?

T is for Train Tracks

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

Somehow I made it to nearly the end of my third round of Alphabe Thursday without featuring train tracks. Trains are an integral part of virtually every area of the Midwest. I honestly have no idea what it would be like not hearing trains in the distance when the windows are open at night or to drive regular routes around town that didn't include train tracks. Needless to say, it isn't hard to find places to photograph trains and train tracks in Milwaukee.

Finally, I had to include a few shots of the train at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
