Scavenger Hunt (on Monday)

I was planning to do this new meme from Ashley Sisk's blog yesterday, but I didn't want to put off the crazy number of treasury features or skip this, so you get it a day late.  Thankfully you can still link up on Monday!  I hope that it's not a secret by now that I love to take pictures.  I'm also sure that it's not a secret that I take A LOT of jewelry photos.  It is really refreshing to mix up my photo routine every week.  Things like this help!  I'm hoping to do this on a semi-regular basis.  We'll see how it goes.  Enjoy!

1. Abstract

I love abstract patterns.  This is my pencil/pen cup.  I don't even know where it came from, but I love it.

2. Round

I had several ideas for round, but I couldn't resist taking another picture of some of my newest button ideas in my "to do" pile just waiting to be put together.

3. Fire

This is the first thing that came to mind when I saw the "fire" topic.  Where do I see fire the most often?  The stove!  It's funny how for every person who thinks that our gas stove is so rustic, someone else loves it.  And yes, I really was cooking.  I did not stage this photo.  I took this when I was making breakfast for me and Jake after his most recent overnight shift.

4. Seeing Faces in Strange Places

I know that this didn't work extremely well as a photo, but I took a picture of myself in our newly cleaned and installed French doors.  It took about an hour and a half for us to get them cleaned up, but you can see how beautiful they are.

5. Stars

I got out this bracelet when I was tagging items for my show over the weekend.  I did take a new photo of it for the scavenger hunt.
