I sold a turquoise leaf bracelet back in 2009 before I could even list it on Etsy. I got some lovely turquoise lamp work focals for Christmas last year (from Jen of blueserphim's shop) and have slowly been collecting blue leaves all year. I'm finally putting it altogether for a new leaf bracelet.
Usually I make two versions of one design (often in two different sizes) while I have all my beads mixed up. Unfortunately I only had enough leaf beads to make one bracelet. Hopefully it'll sell quickly, and I'll have an excuse to keep looking for more beads.
As I've mentioned before, my card making is a little scattered. I got inspired to start working on a Mother's Day set this month.
I went crazy with the little flowers and have enough for a whole bunch of projects now.
Back to more topical cards, as I mentioned in my Valentine's Day post earlier this month, I did finish a set of Valentine's Day mini cards. I actually finished two very similar sets.
Here they are in the works.
Here's one of the finished sets.

I have been starting to research sewing with paper techniques this month and am very excited for all of the possibilities there. I don't know if I'm going to get a Valentine's Day set with a sewing technique done for this year, but I may try a St. Patrick's Day set.
What are you working on this week? Have you blogged about it? Leave me a link in the comments so I can check it out!
Where else I linked up today:
I included this post in Michelle's Delicately Constructed Friday 1/27/2012 and Erika's It's a Wrap Link Party - 1/30/2012.
I love turquoise!!! I also love your paper cutter:) And those flowers you made are quite cute! I love sliding paper through the sewing machine- you know anything's better than fabric;)
ReplyDeleteOn the team thread you mentioned having a hard time taking photos with the cloudy skies...you still do a good job! I like the cards--the colorful buttons really add a nice punch to them and I know I like mine.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of turquoise, too!! And your leaf bracelets, of course. Adorable button flowers. ^.^
ReplyDeleteYou are so amazingly crafty. I am so impressed with the projects you are putting together.
ReplyDeleteLoving the last sets of Valentine's crafts! I wish I had talent like this!
ReplyDeleteThe cards look great!!
ReplyDeleteLots of fun projects in the works! I love having a variety of projects to work on too...that way I'm never bored :)
ReplyDeleteThe turquoise leaf bracelet will be awesome!
Awesome crafts! The Vday cards are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm a cross-stitch lover so I hope to see your finished work! That's quite a neat cutter thingie you have there!
ReplyDeleteI definitely love turquoise, both the color and the stone. Looking forward to seeing your new bracelet!
Your projects always look much more fun than mine! I'm working on a red and fuschia caterpillar bracelet but since I'm not a fan of those colors I'm having a hard time finding the motivation to get it done.
ReplyDeleteDear Rose, I just love the turquoise jewelry. Blessings, Catherine xo
ReplyDeleteI adore turquoise as well! It's a great color, I'm sure the new bracelet is going to look lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe paper button flowers are also adorable, I may have to try something similar.
Isn't it fun to take a break from your normal craft and do something else? I can see you're having a GREAT time with your greeting cards! As to what I'm working on this week...I just finished my January challenge (you'll see it on my Web site). Next on the agenda is finishing a journal that's intended for a silent auction fundraiser.
ReplyDeleteI like turquoise, too! Interestingly, I don't really like the stone itself, but the color is nice.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've been busy!
You are always so busy!!! I love that about you...always motivated :)
ReplyDeleteI have been working on finishing up some projects, too, but I haven't really blogged about them. I know, would make for a great post! Perhaps I will post about them over the course of the next week! I used to have a "my creative space" segment on Thursdays, I think it is time to ressurect that!
I just love your little flower circles! And it's a great idea for getting components ready for the cards. *raising hand* I Love Turquoise! {:-D
ReplyDeleteI love turquoise, too! The bracelet will be lovely, I'm sure. I used to do cross stitch but haven't in a long time. Your paper flowers are very pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Make Yourself Monday I will tweet this! :o)
