I sold the new red and white flower cuff that I just listed last week to Christina of AnnasAdornments over the weekend. So I had to list my other new garden bracelet for this season.
I sold one with a button like this last summer before I could even get it on Etsy. Now it's available for all of you right here. The button is of course from Lisa Peters (LisaPetersArt). I don't have any more of them now, but they were so much fun to use. A bunch of the leaves are from Shannon (beadsandbabble). My green leaf supply is finally dwindling. Czech leaf beads are HARD to find, especially in bulk/wholesale, even from the best sellers/web sites. I'm always on the lookout for new ones. Right now I'm trying to collect enough to make another leafy modern piece, which is a slow process. I'm also looking for small green and purple leaves for new items in my rock garden series. I did find a string of lovely green tear drop shaped leaves over the weekend that I'll share tomorrow.

a new garden for spring 2011
I'm not the best about making and listing pieces in the right season, but I had to list this piece while it's still spring.
It's available here. This is the third flower embellished cuff that I've made now. The second one is still available in my shop here. This new one is more like that second one than like my first one. It would be fun to do another bright cuff like that. But I love all of the red in this new cuff, too. And I have not gotten tired of the dark green base. I would make another flower cuff just for that. The disc beads are from Art Beads mixes. I've been collecting the flowers over the past year, mostly from local bead shops. And the button clasp is another Lisa Peters creations (LisaPetersArt). She's been listing lots of new goodies lately so go check out her shop if you haven't been over there in a while.
As I've mentioned recently, I'm slowing down on the peyote cuffs for a while. But I still have a decent number of flower beads left so there will probably be another one of these cuffs at some point.

another garden dagger piece
I keep saying that I'm almost done listing my dagger pieces. But this really is the last one for now. It's available here. Someone has to buy one before I invest in any more dagger beads!
I started over with the fringe three times before I finally got a color balance that I liked. Too much green and red made the purple disappear almost entirely. I realized that I hadn't created another dagger piece that had the same finish for all of the daggers, and it's tough. I still wish that the purple were a little more vivid, but overall, I'm happy with it. It's darker than my other garden dagger piece. Hopefully it will be just as popular.

two remakes and a sunny treasury
I rolled out a couple remakes over the weekend.
I picked out the buttons for this ages ago. But I was kind of reluctant to put it together. I love the original version of this and the original pictures of it. They were some of the first really good outdoor pictures that I ever took. So I didn't want to take them off Etsy. But that was a long time ago, and while this new version doesn't have the cool square buttons the original did, it's still great. And the new pictures are better. It's available here.
This version of my own fringed skinny cuff design has been pretty popular. So I keep making new ones. This is the first time that I've used bright red in it. It's tough to keep bright red from popping too much in pictures, but I like this slightly brighter look. This one is available here.
Also, Ana (nanouke) included my Beaded Cuff Bracelet - Fringed - Champagne Party in her Sunny Days! treasury. Thanks Ana!

the dagger obsession continues
I was not in a good mood earlier this week about the weather, the road conditions/native's attitude and opinions about said weather and roads in Iowa, and my general state of being at this point in Jake's last year of med school. I decided to list the next piece in my dagger line to lift my spirits a little. So here it is: Beaded Cuff Bracelet - Dagger Fringed - Pink Garden.
Like the first dagger piece that I listed, this is another one that features daggers from Etsy's own TheDespinaCollection. I also have finished dagger pieces in blue, neutral, and purple/red/green (another garden look). Now I just need to photograph them!

final garden for the season
This is another piece that I made and photographed this summer, then photographed again in the light box before I listed it. Here is my Beadwoven Bracelet - Petite Garden.
I made this piece with the seed bead mix that I had left over after I made my spring Art Beads piece, which I sold at the Iowa Arts Festival before I could ever list it here. This was my original leafy color combination, and it may still be my favorite although that's a tough call to make.
I've finished two more bracelets this week. My "beads that are out for current/future projects" tray has gotten kind of out of control (that's an understatement). The more smaller projects that I can finish, the faster that I can get everything organized again. Which will mean more room for even more projects. The cycle never ends, but I am trying to get things somewhat under control. I've been pretty good about photographing new items recently so I'll have more new listings soon.

a taste of spring for New Year's Eve
On a whim, I decided to remake my spring garden fringed peyote cuff over break. I updated the listing today.

I made one other skinny fringed cuff over break as well that I'll be listing soon, which also features green. I think that my next skinny fringed one will be some sort of pink/black combination (mostly pink, hint of black).
I hope that everyone has a safe and fun New Year's Eve! Stay tuned tomorrow for my next EBW Challenge entry and my December Top Ten Droppers list. :)

SFBeads was so kind to let me know that she featured my orange garden peyote cuff in her Flower garden treasury. This is the third treasury that it's been in, and the piece is up to 8 hearts, which is a record for me. Hopefully it will gain at least one or two more through its appearance here.
You can view this treasury live by CLICKING HERE until Monday October 19 6:05PM EST.
