the waterfalls of Cedarburg

Remember last week how I mentioned that I'd revisit Cedarburg and share my long exposures of the Cedar Creek? There are multiple Cedar Creek waterfalls in Cedarburg, which makes for ample opportunities to take long exposures in the area. I'm so glad that I finally got to try my hand at it there this summer. Enjoy.

Have you been visiting any waterfalls this summer?

chasing waterfalls

Last month I brought my tripod to one of my favorite spots right in my neighborhood and captured a few new views of some little falls.

Here are a few shots straight on of the falls that I took back in autumn.

And here are the side angle shots that I took just last month.

the waterfalls at Whitnall Park

After months of limited outdoor photo taking excursions, the warm weather has been inspiring me to get out more again. This past week I took my tripod with me for the first time since the fall and revisited the beautiful Whitnall Park with a friend.

W is for Water Features in Milwaukee

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of photographing the various water features around Milwaukee, but this passion has taken on a whole new life lately. Today I'm highlighting just a few of the amazing water features around the area. Enjoy.

And of course, the best water feature of all: Lake Michigan.

chasing waterfalls

After months of owning a heavy duty tripod and neutral density filters, I'm finally getting serious about taking them out on excursions to experiment with long exposures. Among other things, I've wanted to photograph a number of waterfalls and fountains around Milwaukee for quite a while. Today I'm sharing a few shots of a couple waterfalls in Whitnall Park. Enjoy.
