Four Seasons of Grant Park

One of my ongoing, unofficial goals since moving to Milwaukee has been to photograph favorite places during all four seasons. It's been slow going, but I finally checked another one off my list this fall. Enjoy.

Saturday is Caturday

Are you ready to start your weekend with an awesome round up of kitty photos?

It's hard to tell who had a harder day.

Can't get enough YouTube videos lately.

Computer games are always popular, too. Doesn't Apollo look smug?

Trying to get my attention to put on another YouTube video. I keep that lighter in the basement to burn candles. I know that it looks really random sitting on my printer.

Best brother buddies.

A rare shot where they're both looking at the camera.

Can we say trusting?

Y is for Yellow Fire Hydrant

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

I'm keeping it simple today with some pictures of yellow fire hydrants. All of the hydrants in my neighborhood are yellow. If you're curious why some hydrants are yellow as opposed to red or other colors, you can learn more about it over here.

Check out what the other Alphabe Thursday participants posted for the letter Y this week right here!

quintessential Midwest fall experience

One of the classic activities in the Midwest during the fall is going to an apple orchard. I went to Apple Holler way at the beginning of this fall where I actually did pick apples (remember my apple pie?). More recently I went to Aamodt's Apple Farm and St. Croix Vineyards during my trip to Minneapolis where I did not pick more apples but enjoyed delicious wine samples and took in the beautiful grounds on a lovely fall day with some of my favorite people. I'm sharing a few of my pictures from that excursion. Enjoy.

Has anyone else been apple picking or just enjoying time at an apple orchard this fall?

Saturday is Caturday

Unintentional third kitty post in a row this week. I hope that you can handle it.

Are you ready to start your weekend with an awesome round up of kitty photos?

Remember how this is a thing now? And for those who have been asking, no, they don't jump up there themselves. They get some human assistance. They can jump down on their own just fine, though.

Nail polish inspector.

Since Angel passed away, Apollo has been hanging out downstairs with me more than ever while I work. The chair legs have gone from a frequent to staple spot.

Apollo likes to keep me from working on jewelry.

The ultimate spooners.
