1) Water
Is anyone else not a big fan of washing out their Brita pitcher? I do it when it's time for a filter change, but it's kind of a pain, especially with running water through the new filter. The result is worth it, though.
I chose not to repeat what I did for the last Scavenger Hunt water theme, but that's still what comes to my mind first for water.
2) Light
Do you remember our solar lights? Now that the weather is getting nicer, we finally switched out the candy canes for these leaves.
3) Chocolate
This year was the first time I'd bought Girl Scout cookies in years, which is amazing considering how much time I've spent in schools the last 8 years.
4) Animal
Big surprise, right? She's such a great buddy.
5) Crowded
I'm sure that my Scavenger Hunt photos make it seem like I never leave my house, but I swear that I do get out on a regular basis. Over the weekend, I attended a friend's bridal shower and bachelorette party.
Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.
Here's my shot for I Heart Macro.
I remade one of my most popular designs this past week and did a special photo shoot with it for 2012 craft fair application.
Where else I linked up today:
The cat looks so regal in that picture, with the crossed legs. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteThe macro came out really well (really good? grammar, grammar - I don't know) The kitty pic deserves a clever caption...Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteYou have better resolve than me, I can't help buying girl scout cookies. All those little girls have to do is look at me in those cute little uniforms and I hand over my money.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Loved your comment about us thinking you never get out of the house! You know I've passed up the Girl Scout cookies numerous times this year. (pat on back) But I sure wish I could have one Samoa!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, methinks my Britta could use a little washing....
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of Angel and your macro bracelet!
It was hard, but I passed up on the Girl Scout cookies.. because I find that when I buy them, I then hide them and eat all of them myself! lol, mean mommy!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hate cleaning out that brita too! what a pain! lol!
I love them all! Angel looks so cute and regal with her crossed paws! Your artsy macro shot is cool!
ReplyDeleteoooh chocolate - yum yum yum.
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I love the macro one. Sometimes, I have such trouble getting close ups. For me it is "try, and try again!"
ReplyDeleteI love that photo of Angel :) It reminds me of our Sidney...she always used to cross her paws :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fun weekend with your friends.
Your cat is HILARIOUS! Just relaxing and enjoying some TV. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd YUM to the girl scout cookies!!! MMMMMMM
your macro is beautiful, as always. I like how Angel is crossing her legs - a real lady there. Nice that you got a photo of your weekend! {:-D
ReplyDeleteYou did good with the scavenger hunt shots. I haven't bought girl scout cookies in ages but they were set up in the front of the grocery store yesterday. I was in shock when I walked by their table and saw they were $4 a box
ReplyDeleteLove your buddy shot the best. Great Awww...Monday shot there.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. :)
Wish I could just relax just like your cat! Haha!
ReplyDeleteAngel is so cute with her crossed paws! I love your macro shot! The Brita is a pain. We bought Girl Scout cookies and the Tag Alongs didn't last long but we've had the Thin Mints for 4 weeks which is a miracle - really!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of that adorable cat.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
Love those macro shots! I think it's funny that you said it seems like you never leave the house by what you take photos of. I think the same thing as I always forget my camera when I go out!!
ReplyDeleteI like your animal photo very much !!!! And crowded is a very good photo too.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Sunday :)
