1) Vintage
This is yet another shot of just a small part of our huge inherited china collection. I pretty much only drink coffee at social functions 2-3 times a year, but I still love these little coffee cups.
2) Word of Quote
This is a little sneak peek at my March BBA Challenge piece. Can you guess who came up with this theme?
3) Nature's Own
It is really exciting to start seeing the first signs of spring.
4) People
I am planning a blog post about this new project, but you get a sneak peek of it here. More on this soon.
5) Photographer's Choice
As evidenced by the people shot above, I recently bought supplies for some brand new projects. Many people who have only known me for a few years are always surprised when I branch out from making jewelry. Truthfully I've only been serious about making jewelry for just under 4 years and have a very wide range of creative interests, which is how I came up with randomcreative. Experimenting with new projects on a regular basis keeps me from burning out on jewelry making.
Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.
Here's my shot for I Heart Macro.
This was the bead mix for a recent custom order. Can you believe that I didn't already have a piece in my inventory in this color combination for the requested style? I have used some variation of this bead mix half a dozen times.
Where else I linked up today:
My, my, you are up to a lot of somethings this week!
ReplyDeleteDear Rose, I love coffee and look forward to a good cup of coffee. These vintage coffee cups are great. I just love vintage anything.

ReplyDeletecan't wait to see what you'll be doing with your new art supplies! Love the photos, esp. your macro! {:-D
ReplyDeleteThe scavenger hunt sounds like so much fun. If it wasn't for the fact that I seem to have a hard time keeping up with things I think I would join in.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear more about some of your other projects.
The new project looks like fun and I can't figure out what you are going to do so will be anxious to see!
ReplyDeleteDidn't know where "randomcreative" came from... now I do! Have fun with your new projects!
ReplyDeleteNice to see the flowers popping up, I should walk around tomorrow and see if anything is blooming yet at my house. Thanks for sharing that burst of springtime color!
Looks like some great projects are coming up soon!
ReplyDeleteYou beaders are so talented and so full of patience and perseverance. I do not know how you do it. I love crafting, quilting, knitting, and sewing, but not the beading. I have tried and tried but am a total failure. Right now I am into my photography and really enjoying it. You have given us pots of nice shots...love the crocus one, and am really curious as to what you are going to do with all the photos of the people. genie
ReplyDeleteI think it's fun to see what new projects you are up to. It is so true that doing projects outside of our "normal" (whatever that is!) project range refreshes us creatively.
ReplyDeletea fun group of photos! Can't wait to see your turquoise and red project!
