Last week Jake and I made what will probably be our last fall zoo trip.  Since we have a year membership, we may go once or twice in the winter and then will definitely start going again more regularly in the spring.  I couldn't believe how active the animals were when we were there.  The cooler weather got everyone moving around.  I got a lot of great pictures and wanted to share some of them here.  Enjoy!

I took a walk yesterday in one of the local parks.  It is so gorgeous this time of year that I had to take some pictures.  I hope that all of you in the midwest who have been blessed with warm, sunny weather this week have been able to enjoy it a little, too!

This photo is of the 8.5x11" printout of a square knot that I used while I was working on my custom order last week.  I know that you're probably laughing, but imagine tying lots of these knots with a double length of nylon thread onto 9mm jump rings.  It's not like using yarn or something thicker on a large ring like the one in the picture!  This printout was extremely helpful.

I thought I'd follow up on my moving theme from last week with another peak at my boxes.  Almost all of my empty space in my classroom has quickly filled up with boxes!  This is probably a third of our entire stash.

The cooks at my school have been awesome about saving boxes for me this past month for our upcoming move.  I got this one at the end of last week and thought it was funny.  I posted it on Facebook where it got a very positive reaction so I thought I'd share it here, too.  Happy Wednesday!

I can't believe that I hadn't posted this picture of Angel yet.  I took this a few weeks ago.  We've had these desk chairs almost a year.  In the last month, she's decided that this is one of her favorite places to sit.  Specifically, she likes to sit with her head touching or almost touching one of the wheels.  One of these days, one of us is going to almost roll her over (unintentionally of course), but until then, it's a fun little game.
