Like many of my designs, this new product line is something that I've had in mind for quite a while and finally put it together. I've been a big fan of the Tiffany heart charm bracelet and heart charm necklace for more than four years (which I don't own; I have the Lia Sophia knock offs). I thought that it would be neat to make a charm bracelet like this, but with a triangle charm. As I've mentioned before, I love my tubular triangle earring design but wanted to use one of these triangles in a bracelet design. This is the result of all of those thoughts. And I also made a necklace design. Plus the first versions are both purple because a handful of people have requested more purple items.
Silver Chain Links Bracelet - Tubular Peyote Triangle Charm - Purple
I know that the purple looks almost black here, but it's really wonderful rich royal purple.
Silver Chain Links Necklace - Tubular Peyote Triangle Charm - Light/Dark Purple
The gray shots with the necklace turned out so well that I may try taking some pictures of the bracelet with it, too.
As always, I am open to other suggestions for the next versions of this design.
Finally, Carrie (carriegrab419) included my Peyote Cuff Bracelet - Autumn Explosion in her Autumn Splendor treasury. Thanks Carrie!

recent orders/projects/Alchemy
I've put all of my new ideas and planned projects aside for the past week or so because of all of the custom work that I've had! I've also been working on a couple presents. The first will be part of my new line of items that I'll be revealing soon. The other one is my first tubular triangle pendant.
I know that it's hard to tell in this picture, but the dark beads are a wonderful, deep shade of purple. For those who like this color combination, you will be seeing more of it in the future. :)
One of my two recent Alchemy bids that I won was actually for supplies. I haven't gotten into destashing on Etsy, but I thought that this would be an interesting opportunity. This is what I put together this week.
The other Alchemy bid that I won is for the custom pearl and lemon quartz cuff that I won't be working on until sometime next week when all of the supplies come in so I'll have more details about that then. The other order that I've been working on this week is the wedding order that I mentioned at the beginning of this week. Here are the two made to order pieces.
The newest version of my Silver Links Ocean Beaded Bracelet. Yes, these made to order pieces are small so they'll fit the young flower girls.
And the newest version of my Green Ocean Fantasy Beadwoven Bracelet. I still have some of these polka dot beads in blue (as well as a few other colors) so I might make a slightly modified version to sell.
I'll post pictures of the complete bridesmaid wedding order after the bride has received it.

voting for the August EBW Challenge and my newest red piece
Before I get to red, I want to mention that voting started for the August EBW Challenge Gold and Silver today! Voting is August 9th-15th on the Etsy Beadweavers blog: http://etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com. Voting is on the right side of the page. You can view all of the entries in the most recent blog post. My entry is number 5: Gold and Silver Wrapped Skinny Peyote Cuff Bracelet. Thank you so much to everyone who has already voted for it!
For those who are bead weavers, you can purchase the pattern for this cuff here.
And now the other topic for this post: red. :) I know that I've written this before here, but I still believe that red is one of the most underrated colors. I remade my Red Striped Beadwoven Peyote Triangle Pendant design this week. Because it took me so long to finish the coordinating cuff after the pendant, I never did photograph both pieces together. I figured that now would be a good a time as any to do that. I shot some new pictures of the cuff as well. The originals weren't bad, but these are better.
Because the ribbons were such a big hit at the Arts Festival, I'm photographing all of my pendants with ribbons now.
Here's one of my shots of the two pieces together. You can see the other shot in the triangle listing.
In an effort to show more modeling poses, I took a few pictures of myself wearing the pendant. This was the best one. I don't know if I'm going to use something like this for all of my listings now, but I think that's worth continuing to experiment with the idea.
Also, at everyone's urging, I experimented with some different arm/hand model poses for the cuff. Let me know what you think.
I still love how the coordinating cuff turned out. It was a lot of work coming up with this design, but it was well worth it!

up and running again
I got up a couple more old listings up and running today. The first is the companion piece to the embellished champagne peyote cuff that I posted yesterday. Here is the champagne peyote triangle pendant.
I will do a little adjusting with my glass/propped up poses in my new outdoor photo set up later this week. I'm really happy with how the music background poses are turning out. This was the first time that I'd shot earrings and pendants with the white back drop outside. I think that it will work, but it will need some tweaking. The above shots are still MUCH better than the old ones.
The second recently revived listing is my Christmas button charm bracelet. I sold the original at the Arts Festival, and I made a new one this week. I am really happy with it. It's more full and vibrant than the original.
It is part of the Christmas in July sale and will be 25% off for the rest of the month.
One of my EBW members kindly agreed to proofread my pattern today. Thanks Jacquie! I'm still planning to have it up and running later this week. I most likely won't have all of my old pictures re-shot for another week, but I've updated the other information for almost all of my other listings now. I'll put in the final pictures as I get them done. Hopefully all of the changes/updates/upgrades will help me continue to increase my sales!

back in stock
Am I ever going to feel like I'm on top of all of my inventory again?! Probably at some point, but not any time soon. Among other listing updates today (of which there were a fair number), I updated a couple listings for pieces that I've remade since the Iowa Arts Festival.
I think that I mentioned this before, but because the ribbons were so popular at the Arts Festival, all of my pendant listings now include a 16" or 18" grosgrain ribbon. If you would like a different color or length of ribbon, please let me know.
One of my items that is back in stock now is my spring green peyote triangle pendant.
I also remade my skinny rainbow stripes square stitch bracelet. It's considerably shorter than the original version whose length kept a handful of people from purchasing it in the past. This bracelet coordinates with this triangle pendant that I also recently remade. I made matching earrings that I will list at some point in the near future.

triangles - a new listing and a treasury feature
Yes, finally a new item for sale! layers of cream, caramel, and chocolate peyote triangle earrings :)

I love this color combination! I am planning to make a bargello cuff with these four delicas at some point.
And on the subject of triangles, Kandice (KandiceInWonderland) included my red striped peyote triangle pendant in her Trendy Triangles treasury (try saying that quickly haha). I seriously LOVE this collection. Such a fun mix of items. Please check it out!
You can view this treasury live by CLICKING HERE until Saturday April 10 11:30PM EST.

Champagne Party
I can't believe that I didn't post about these pieces sooner this week. I ended up with 3 snow days this week, but I had to scrap most of the bead work that I did during that time, due to failed designs or mistakes. I salvaged most of my blue square stitch bracelet and should be able to finish it this weekend. I haven't finished anything in over a week, though, and have generally been feeling a little down for no other specific reason. So I haven't really been in the mood for a lot of posting.
I'm really proud of these two pieces, though, especially my cuff. I never really got over my champagne fix after my cousin's wedding (the color, not the drink haha). I started working on the cuff back in August. Part of me still can't believe that it's really done.
Now I just hope that someone wants to buy it!

I think that it could be a neat wedding piece. If not, it's still an awesome party/special occasion piece.

And here's the matching triangle.

Here are a couple final shots of the two pieces together.

wedding jewelry, custom order
At long last, here are the pictures of the jewelry that I made for my cousin's wedding to coordinate with my bridesmaid dress. I got a lot of compliments on them, especially the triangle.

Angel helped me take those pictures. :)

I have to show off one picture from the wedding here.

And here's the custom ordered that I completed and delivered last weekend.

I had never made a blue button charm bracelet without any navy/dark shades before, and I love how it turned out!
I just set up a trade with a fellow Etsy seller this week. I will be making something new for it. I'm not sure what yet! (She wants to be surprised.) I most likely won't start on it until after this weekend because we have some more family events. She won't have a chance to mail her part of the trade until next week so it works out well. Today was the last student day of school which means much more free time in the very near future. :)
