I've put all of my new ideas and planned projects aside for the past week or so because of all of the custom work that I've had! I've also been working on a couple presents. The first will be part of my new line of items that I'll be revealing soon. The other one is my first tubular triangle pendant.
I know that it's hard to tell in this picture, but the dark beads are a wonderful, deep shade of purple. For those who like this color combination, you will be seeing more of it in the future. :)
One of my two recent Alchemy bids that I won was actually for supplies. I haven't gotten into destashing on Etsy, but I thought that this would be an interesting opportunity. This is what I put together this week.
The other Alchemy bid that I won is for the custom pearl and lemon quartz cuff that I won't be working on until sometime next week when all of the supplies come in so I'll have more details about that then. The other order that I've been working on this week is the wedding order that I mentioned at the beginning of this week. Here are the two made to order pieces.
The newest version of my Silver Links Ocean Beaded Bracelet. Yes, these made to order pieces are small so they'll fit the young flower girls.
And the newest version of my Green Ocean Fantasy Beadwoven Bracelet. I still have some of these polka dot beads in blue (as well as a few other colors) so I might make a slightly modified version to sell.
I'll post pictures of the complete bridesmaid wedding order after the bride has received it.

three items to check out
I've already made a lot of progress this weekend with my jewelry pictures and inventory. I got behind a couple weeks before the Arts Festival with editing pictures and getting descriptions ready for new items, and I'm still playing catch up. There's still a lot of work to do, but I feel good about everything that I've accomplished. I also made a lot of progress editing non-jewelry pictures from this school year. I have posted everything that I want to from October through May on Facebook now and have ordered a bunch of new prints to put up at home and work.
I listed my neutral square stitch embellished cuff today.
I am really pleased with how this picture turned out. I think that it's one of the best that I've taken in a long time.
I used a few random components left over from one of my Art Bead's blogging stashes in this cuff. There are several Swarovskis as well as a handful of Czech glass beads, including Czech glass hearts. As it goes with all of my embellished cuffs, I had fun pulling components from a variety of sources. Some of the beads in here I picked out when I was making my wedding jewelry almost 4 years ago!
I lowered the cost of all of my embellished square stitch cuffs in my Etsy shop today. From here on out, they will all be $40.00.
I made a new version of my tri-color with red border triangle pendant that I sold last summer and updated the listing with new pictures today.
Because the ribbons were such a big hit at the Arts Festival, I will include ribbons with all of my pendants from now on, both on Etsy and at craft fairs. If you would like a different length and/or color than the one pictured in the listing, just let me know! I current have red, white, and black and am happy to get more colors as people request them.
I sold the coordinating bracelet for this pendant at the Arts Festival and made a new one this past week as well as a matching pair of earrings. I will list both of them sometime in the next month.
While I was taking pictures of some other new items today, I took pictures of my older turning to fall bangle whose renewal is coming up soon.
I have a handful of other older items that also desperately need new pictures. As their renewals come up on Etsy, I'm planning to update their listings with new pictures. I have a lot of respect for people who edit huge numbers of listings at once. I don't have the motivation to do that! Instead, I do my best to continue make changes a little bit at a time.

continuing with the green
I've been making new spotlights on byhand.me lately. You've seen most of the items that I've featured here already, but feel free to check them out if you're interested!
I listed my newest green item today - spring green peyote triangle pendant. I already posted a new pictures of this when I was experimenting with new pendant poses so I'm just posting the top picture from the listing.
I am finally doing the detail work for my newest flower cuff, which will have a base with all of these dark greens. As previous mentioned, I love all of these green shades that I've been working with lately. One of the newer ones from my collection is this beautiful emerald green. I'm almost out but will definitely be ordering more in the future.

new triangle pendant
Just a quick reminder that there are only a couple days left to enter my Art Beads gift certificate giveaway! The winner gets a $25 e-mail gift certificate to ArtBeads.com. You can enter until midnight CST on December 31. I will pick and announce the winner on New Year's Day. You can enter the giveaway by clicking here.
I listed a new triangle pendant tonight. The triangle will eventually coordinate with a red striped cuff, but that cuff is still a work in progress due to the previously mentioned technical difficulties. I've had trouble getting back to the cuff so progress is slow. I'm happy with the triangle, though.

I'm pretty positive that my next triangle will actually be a pair of triangle earrings.
I've had a lot of time to do bead work since we got back into town yesterday. I've also had some gorgeous sunshine for photographing so I will continue to list more new pieces over the next week.

Peace Piece
I listed my December 2009 EBW Challenge Peace Piece this week, along with a coordinating peyote triangle pendant. I sold most of my triangles this summer and have just recently begun to replenish my stock.
I have been wanting to do a striped cuff with different shades of a single color. When I heard the December challenge theme, my mind immediately went to the color blue. I decided that this would be a perfect way to try this. And of course it needed some embellishment. I like the way that the organized stripes contrast with the random embellishment. I'm already working on a red striped cuff that will have a different sort of embellishment. :) But for now, here are the blue pieces.

made to order, treasury feature
I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! :)
I finally listed both the peyote cuff and triangle pendant that I made for my cousin's wedding back in May as made to order items in my Etsy shop this week.
My fellow EBW member KraftyMax included my skinny black and white bracelet in her Many SHAPES of Black and White treasury. She very kindly sent me a convo to let me know that I was featured!

You can visit it live by CLICKING HERE until Tuesday July 7 at 5:42PM EST.

rainbow stripes
I listed a new item yesterday.

This is the one I mentioned a little while back that I made with the same beads as this triangle pendant. :)

new triangle, non-bead woven jewelry favorites
I listed a new triangle tonight.

I made a bracelet in the same colors a while back. I still haven't photographed it, but I will get around to doing that and listing it at some point in the hopefully not too distant future.
Most of the browsing that I do on Etsy is bead woven, button, triangle, or charm bracelet related. However, I have still managed to acquire a number of favorites that are other sorts of jewelry favorites. Here are a few of them for you to admire. :)
Scrabble Tile Pendant - Colorful Circles in Red, Yellow, and Blue by SquaresofFlair

Art Beads!
I got my first Blogging for Beads freebies in the mail yesterday. I got 7 Round Aquamarine Buttons and 7 Round Burgundy Buttons. Gorgeous! I'm thinking about making an embellished right angle bracelet with them like this purple one. I'm still undecided about what beads to use for it. Any thoughts are welcome!
Also, the Dollar Days Sale is going on right now at Art Beads until April 28. Over 2,000 items are only $1.00 each. I am trying very hard to resist this very tempting sale, as I have a handful of different beads from my last Art Bead's orders that I have yet to touch. But there are lots of great deals so if you are looking to buy, I highly recommend checking it out.
I finished the peyote cuff and triangle pendant that I'll be wearing for my cousin's wedding next month. They don't look much like I originally envisioned of course (most of my projects end up this way), but I'm still very pleased with the results. I will be busy the next couple weekends with other wedding related events for my cousin so picture taking and posting will be a little delayed the next couple weeks but I'll will get pictures up at some point. :)
Please check out Art Beads for any beading supplies that you need!
