Among other things (and no, that's not code for babies), Jake and I are moving this fall, which has pushed this blog and a lot of other personal endeavors on the back burner until sometime in 2016. The best way to keep up with me right now is Instagram, where I will still be posting pictures of recent happenings on a somewhat (though less frequent than normal) basis. I hope that everyone is having a great fall and that you enjoy this small set of photos of my new neighborhood.

Saturday is Caturday
Are you ready to start your weekend with a dose of cute?
Chasing a sun watch spot on the kitchen floor.
Still one of my favorite things ever. It always makes me think of Lucy's psychiatry booth from Peanuts.
Ares is convinced that there is something great buried in between the sofa cushions.
What have your cats been up to lately?

the waterfalls of Cedarburg
Remember last week how I mentioned that I'd revisit Cedarburg and share my long exposures of the Cedar Creek? There are multiple Cedar Creek waterfalls in Cedarburg, which makes for ample opportunities to take long exposures in the area. I'm so glad that I finally got to try my hand at it there this summer. Enjoy.
Have you been visiting any waterfalls this summer?

Pinterest picks
Welcome to another edition of Pinterest pics! Here are just a few of the things that I've been enjoying on Pinterest lately.
The year's most breathtaking travel destinations, from National Geographic's 2015 Traveler Photo Contest. Please click through to the post. It'll put all of your best travel photos to shame in the best way possible. And you know, hopefully inspire you to do more traveling (and to keep taking travel pictures).
Most of the time Jake and I grill the most simple foods ever like hamburgers and steaks. Recently we made marinated chicken / steak and mushroom / onion kabobs, and they were one of the best things ever. I can't wait to make more.
I love circles, random craft projects, and the turquoise / purple color combination so this project is right up my alley. Of course I'd probably make mine red and turquoise, but you already knew that.
Just because.
For the love of all things coconut. Plus they're mini!
Are you tired of kraft wrapping yet? I love these kraft packages because they work well for so many spring and summer occasions (birthdays, weddings, showers, etc.).
I love all kitties, but why are the orange ones so photogenic?
What have you been pinning lately? Feel free to share links in the comments!

the town of Cedarburg WI
For the past year, I've wanted to get up to Cedarburg and shoot some long exposures of the beautiful Cedar Creek that winds through the downtown. I finally made time for it last month. While I was up there, I had to spend time time wandering the downtown as well. Somehow I've never shared pictures of the quaint Cedarburg downtown here. I'm sharing that set today and will be sharing some of my long exposures in a different post. Enjoy.
