new Christmas piece, giveaways, snow day happenings

I listed my last new Christmas item for this season (I think!).

A couple of my favorite Etsy sellers are having giveaways right now. The first one is Kristen (KMStudioDOTcom) who is giving away one of her horses (like this one) that she will make into a magnet or brooch for you. You can check out all of the details about the giveaway on her blog by clicking here. The second one is Mary Lou (time2cre8) who is giving away one of her oglala bracelets. She has all of the details posted on her blog as well, which you can check out by clicking here.

I don't have any new pictures of progress or other new items besides the Christmas one above. I had a snow day today, though (and I'm going to have another one tomorrow!), and I took pictures of a few things that happened at home during the day.

I made pretzel rolls for the first time. For those of you who don't know, I like to cook, and I love to bake. This is something that I've wanted to try for a while, and they turned out awesome! The only problem is that the recipe only makes 12, and my husband and I ate half of them this afternoon/evening haha.

Angel decided that she wanted to go out on the porch a couple times today. She made little prints in the snow, which is about the cutest thing ever.

I tried to get a shot of her when she went out the second time tonight, but of course she started coming in when I got my camera out. I think that this is still cute, though. And you can see some of our outdoor Christmas lights.

Thanks for looking at my non-jewelry/Etsy related pictures. :)

  1. Thanks for the info on the giveaways! I love to bake too so I'll have to check out those pretzel rolls.

Angel's kitty prints in the snow are so cute! Looks like she was done with the cold and ready to come in though - either that or just didn't want her picture taken!

  2. I'm sure that she was cold. I was surprised that she wanted to go outside twice and actually stayed outside for a couple minutes both times. I know that you know how it goes with taking pictures of cats doing cute things. It can be hard to capture the shot just right because cats don't usually want to do what we want them to do when we want them to do it. :)

  3. The kitty prints are really adorable :)
Ours is a rather rainy area, so when my cat goes outside when it's wet I end up with pawprints all over our floor when he comes back in! Haha!
Your pretzel rolls look yummy. I love baking too. Just one question...are these savory or sweet?

    have a nice weekend,

  5. No prob! The rolls are more savory than sweet. There is sugar in the recipe, but they taste a lot like soft pretzels.
