Scavenger Hunt on Monday (12/17/12)

Welcome to a travel edition of the Scavenger Hunt! This past week Jake and I took a vacation to San Antonio. Of course I have tons of photos to share. You get a peek at just a few of them today. Enjoy.

1) Sparkly

We stayed with some friends in San Antonio. This is from their Christmas tree. It's not difficult to find sparkly items during the Christmas season.

2) Door

There are a handful of old beautiful churches in downtown San Antonio. The second church pictured here is the second oldest cathedral in the United States.

3) Decorate

One of the fun aspects of traveling around Christmas is seeing the decorations in new places.

4) Stripes
I'm sure that those of you who live in southern areas of the country will laugh at this, but we don't have Whataburger in the Midwest so it was something of a novelty for us.

5) A Few of My Favorite Things
Christmas lights. Red. Stripes of color. Bokeh. What's not to love here?

I wasn't hanging out with Angel this week, but I did get to meet several other animals while we were on the road.
Our friends have a four month old puppy named Vi. She's a Vizsla.

We saw a couple cats hanging out at the Japanese gardens in San Antonio near the zoo.

They were pretty shy, but aren't they cute?

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

  4. nice to see pets at friend's home, when you're missing your own. Texas has a lot of old buildings. Love the glass window! Think I've eaten in a Whataburger maybe once or twice. Nothing to write home about, but it is a cute cup! {:-D
