1) Missing
What is missing from this photo? Nothing. You can't go wrong here.
2) Numbers
Jake and I are attending a wedding next month, and we ordered a frame from Edi for a gift. As always, her work is beautiful.
3) Purple
When we were putting up some of our Christmas decorations this week, I found some old purple Christmas lights. Of course I had to put them up in our purple bedroom. I think that my life is complete now.
4) Music
Does anyone else miss reading the lyrics from a CD album? It's not the same pulling them up from a random lyrics site online. (And no, I know that neither one is anything like a record liner. Yes, I am old enough to remember them.) We download most of our music now, and even when we buy a CD, it's very rare that the liner comes with much of anything. Sad. (This liner is from this album. Go check it out.)
5) Bracelet
Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.
Congrats on your new camera!!! Your shots all look great and you should be really happy with that jewelry shot...amazing!
ReplyDeleteFun shot of my frame...thanks for sharing it.
Now...can I come cuddle up with Angel :)
Whoa, look at the difference with your new camera! It just makes the bracelet pop. Not that it wouldn't have popped before, but you know what I mean. DSLR cameras are amazing. Hope you enjoy playing around with it!
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun tour - love your comment about the purple lights and yes, the photos do seem a bit sharper...Hmmm
ReplyDeleteI love the first shot the very best. I know you aren't surprised about this either.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. :)
Well, congrats! I bet your thrilled the day has finally come for your camera upgrade:) So exciting! And that bracelet test shot is amazing! I'm sure it will really elevate your shop:) Laughing at the purple lights in the purple room- how fitting, festive, and fun!
ReplyDeleteWait! There IS something missing from the first photo - a 7-foot tall cat tree and some roast chicken!
ReplyDeleteHow do you like your new camera?! It takes stunning photos for sure :) Love the purple lights!
ReplyDeleteRose, I'm curious what camera you were using before and why you chose to upgrade. I'm thinking about maybe getting a better camera as well.. at least one that does better close up shots. I don't know much about cameras so would love your input :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you on your new camera! I've only had mine about a year and a half and love it! I love the focus on your bracelet shot! BTW beautiful crafted bracelet!!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on your new camera. You got some nice shots with it.
ReplyDeleteI do miss having the lyrics that always came with the albums or CD's.
Woohoo! Congrats and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYay! Have fun experimenting :)
ReplyDeleteThe shot of Angel is so sweet!!
Congratulations on your new camera! It sure is fun to experiment and it appears you are getting along well with your new toy (or is it a tool?). ;))
ReplyDeletethe photographs are exquisite! You'll have a lot of fun with the camera, I know. DH and I buy early gifts too. I want a nice cane, but will wait a few weeks, I think, to go looking. The bracelet is a perfect subject for you - and the light box (and you) makes it so clear and sharp. Great work! {:-D
ReplyDeleteOh, wonderful! I have heard really good things about that camera. Your photos look GREAT! And, of course, glad to see Angel here ;-)
ReplyDeleteAngel seems to have found a more comfy spot than the pole! Cool purple lights!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures! Enjoy your new camera!
