weekend happenings

I spent a lot of time this weekend going through more old books that I want to list on Amazon or Ebay.  Just when I think I'm nearing the end of what I want to list, I find a whole new shelf or box that I haven't gone through.  This is a picture that I took in the middle of my progress today.
I linked my Amazon and Ebay shops above.  I have a lot on Amazon.  I only have a few listings up on Ebay right now, but I'll be listing more over the next month.  It's a lot of work, but every book we sell is one less book that we'll have to move again.

I've been working some more leafy pieces this weekend.  I'm going to list my EBW October challenge piece tomorrow.  Here's a sneak peak of it.
I'm going to use the longer leafy piece pictured above for the challenge.  I'll have a shorter one available for sale within the next week, too.

Finally, here's a picture of Angel that I took yesterday.  She's been spending a lot of time sleeping on the couch recently.
As you can probably tell by the scissors that I left there, that is exactly where I usually sit on the couch. :)

  3. Angel probably misses having you home during the day now that school is in session. Hope your challenge piece does well, as it is right on for the theme. Good Luck!

  4. Yeah, Angel doesn't really like adjusting back to that schedule, but she does okay. She's a pretty flexible kitty. :)

Thanks! I'm sure that I won't win, but my shop does get a lot of exposure from the challenges.

  5. I have very old astronomy and physics books and science fiction pulp magazines. Oh yes, and my Star Trek comics. I'd like to see some of this but figuring out the values will take real research I don't have time for at the moment.

  7. My parents are doing much of the same so they don't have to move unneeded things again! I will have to mention Amazon to my mom :)

Love your challenge piece!!! Be sure to let us know when we can vote!

  8. It's so much easier to get rid of it now than move it again! I'm glad that they're doing that. I've sold a lot on Amazon. Let me know if you have any questions about it. :)

Thanks! It will be October 9-15. I'll post about it again with a link when it gets closer.

  12. Our little doggie does that--the minute we leave the room, she moves to where we were sitting!

I've listed books on Amazon for literally years (latest sale was a set of Childcraft books I bought for $5 and sold for $120!), and I have an Ebay store, but I didn't know you could link them. Do you have the time to tell me more about that? I would So appreciate it!

Love and hugs from Coffee Pot People Land!
