out of the norm

Earlier this month, Jake and I were able to take advantage of a museum swap day in Milwaukee and visit the Harley Davidson Museum for free. Whether or not you like motorcycles, I highly recommend a trip to this museum if you're in the Milwaukee area. The history is fascinating, and the artifacts are amazing. Suffice it to say that I also deemed it a great place to take pictures. Enjoy.

What have you been photographing lately?

  1. Motorcycles have certainly changed over the years -- that first one is basically a bike with a motor! We sure see a lot of Harleys around here!
    I'm photo-ing cats!

Unfortunately, I haven't been taking photos of anything as of late...My camera is dying and keeps freezing every time I try. =(

  3. Cool pictures! It would be interesting to visit! I remember an early "bike" that my first hubby had, I don't know what kind it was, but it was basically an early motorbike. He had it in our living room, working on it! Boy, was I incensed! but it is a good memory :)

  6. Neat. We went to a motorcycle exhibit years ago, at the Field Museum I think. So fun.

  7. My son got to tour the Harley factory when he was in school. I would have loved to have gone. I'm surprised you were allowed to take pictures. Most museums don't let you. I guess that's one more reason to like a Harley :)

  9. Great photos. I'm not really into Harleys, but when I lived in South Dakota, I saw hundreds every summer heading to the Sturgis Bike Rally.
