photo share: shower reveal

You all know about my bad track record of doing elaborate planning when I host events and then not taking any pictures of the actual events. I made every last effort to take pictures of the actual shower for my future sister-in-law last month (you may remember that I posted some prep photos in case this didn't work out so well), and it paid off. I'm proud to be sharing a few of those photos with you today. Enjoy.

Do you struggle to remember to take pictures during events, too?

  1. Such wonderful memories captured! Great job with the pictures, I can so relate to being caught up in the moment and not taking any photos after being tired out from preparations!

  2. Great photos. Love the hand drawn ribbon on the package :)
I'm terrible about taking pictures anymore too. When I scrapbooked a lot I always had my camera out, but I find myself enjoying the moment more now :)

  3. I am the same way! I make tons of plans and work hard for something, and then I totally get caught up and forget to take pictures of it! But I am working on this, too! I absolutely love that hand-drawn wrapping paper!

  4. I think you took a good amount! My whole family is notoriously bad about forgetting to take pictures. We just get caught up in doing whatever we're doing and leave the cameras in the purses. In fact, it was my mom's birthday two weeks ago and I think we only took two pictures the whole time. Haha.

  6. What fun!! You got some great candid shots. I'm bad about taking photos -- I tend to get caught up in the excitement of being with family and friends and don't think to take photos.
