D is for Ducks

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

This week I'm bringing back ducks for the letter D. Enjoy.

When I was at Frame Park in Waukesha last month, I saw an abundance of ducks.

I also saw a few when I was at Doctors Park in the north Milwaukee suburbs earlier this month.

Sometimes when I'm photographing ducks, a few geese sneak into the photos, too. I took both of these pictures in Greenfield Park, the first in April and the second in May.

Check out my past duck posts for Alphabe Thursday:

  5. I've always loved the jade green color on the Mallard's, but the geese are my favorite. They're Canadian like me. :-)

  11. Seeing mallards reminds me of my Dad. We had a number of duck things around the house. When I was in college I even made him a mallard duck candle out of wax. Of course he never burnt it.

  12. The ducklings are so darling!

Whenever I see ducks I think of our Grandlittles chasing them around!

    It's a delightful memory.

And a delightful link to the letter D.

    Thank you.
