This week I'm sharing one of the views that never gets old for me: Lake Michigan. Surprise, right? Last round I shared a different favorite view, but somehow Lake Michigan always seems to sneak into the alphabet. Back in January during the last round of L, I was sharing winter lake pictures, and I know that no one wants to see those shots right now, including me. These are just a few of my favorite Lake Michigan shots from this spring and summer. Enjoy.

What great shots! I love that first one and all the different colors in the water. And all the dock shots!
ReplyDeleteThe water looks so beautiful! We live near the Potomac River, but the water is always kind of greenish brown. I don't know if I'd want to go in there haha. The ocean is only an hour or two away, depending on which way you go, but for some reason we never go! These pics are making me miss the beach. I love that lighthouse.
ReplyDeleteIt absolutely never ceases to amaze me how beautiful the water can look! I love the top two shots, as well as the one with the duck. The water looks like something I'd expect to see here in Hawaii!

This reminds me a lot of Lake Ontario, which is five minutes from my home. Thanks for the inspiration and the marvelous photos. Since my daughter bought me a new I-phone, I've been having a blast taking all kinds of pics.

ReplyDeleteOf course being a fan of Lake Michigan too, I had to visit your other posts, which I have already seen, but enjoyed them again! I never grow tired of these lovely views. The photos for this post are extremely inspiring and lovely, but also is your blog header photo, now that is just sensational!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see you're having a love affair with Lake Michigan. You've caught so many sides of her very finely. I could never get tired of viewing beautiful shots of gorgeous places. I've only seen Lake Michigan once so far in my life. Living in California, I was surprised how much she is like an ocean.
