I just shared a round of photography aspirations a couple months ago...but I keep looking at loads of stunning photos and getting even more inspiration. This isn't even a bad thing. I think that it's important to note that these aspiration posts are all about techniques, not gear. Yes, we all have gear lists, but aspiration should be about so much more than new gear.
You'll notice a distinct night photography theme here. Click on the photos for the resources.
Steel wool spinning
Night fountain
Star trails
Also, this is not the best star trails photo, but I love the effect of the hint of star trails over the car light trails.
Milky Way
Colored smoke
And another favorite colored smoke photo because seriously...so amazing.

What are your photography aspirations?
From simple to ambitious, feel free to share them in the comments!
Dear Rose, These photo's are wonderful. Blessings, Catherine
ReplyDeleteThe night fountain shot is beautiful. I have photos of a dewy spider web taken with my cell phone that I love. I just wish I'd had my other cameras since those opportunities don't come around very often. Thanks for sharing your inspirations!
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing photos!! My aspirations are modest-- finish reading the manual so I can figure out how to use the settings to improve my listing photo quality. I get the zoom function. But adjusting for light levels, etc. still baffles me.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fabulous! I especially like the steel wool spinning and star trails.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteAs for me, well I'd really like to get just one perfect HDR shot :)
Wow, these are amazing! I'm not sure I can pick a favorite, but the smoke and star trails are pretty awesome!
