Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!
I'm repeating an Alphabe Thursday theme today to bring you another round up of photos from the abandoned Solvay Coke & Gas site in Milwaukee. You can read more about Solvay Coke in the first post that I ever wrote about the site back in July 2013. Today I'm sharing photos from my last excursion to the site, which was back in April. Enjoy.
Check out what the other Alphabe Thursday participants posted for the letter S this week right here!
What an interesting place, even now, through all your lovely photos expressing the now, and even details about the treasures of new found art throughout. I like that Smurf, I think I have that very one, and I'm planning on featuring him in a post about- Movember! Now I have to back and check out your first post about this place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous place to take your camera! We've had some smurf graffiti over here too, but most of them have been painted over some time ago.
ReplyDeleteCool photos! That next to last one is really neat.
ReplyDeleteI think these are even better than your first ones! So much rubble, so much art.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive Rose, Blessings, Catherine
ReplyDeleteIf walls could talk! These photos tell an interesting story.
ReplyDeleteI do love photos of abandoned locations. They're cool and sometimes creepy. You have an excellent eye!

Oh the colors! Definitely conveys a strong feeling, what gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteI know that I worry more than most, but I would've been all paranoid wandering around in the debris. Haha. It's a cool place, though!
ReplyDeleteLove the last photo! What a fun place to explore.
