graduation season

As many of you know, Jake is finishing his medical residency in mere weeks, and my littlest sister-in-law Katie just got her undergrad degree. We had a double graduation season four years ago, too, when Jake graduated from medical school and Katie graduated from high school. In the midst of selling a condo, buying a house, and moving four and a half hours away, I didn't put a post together for either of those events. Here are a couple throw back pictures for you.

It's hard to sum up such a momentous time in our lives in just a few sentences so I'll leave you with the pictures from this weekend.

Is it graduation season for anyone else right now?

  2. How fun to be able to celebrate dual graduations this way! Congratulations to both Jake and Katie. What happens now? Will Jake continue working where he is, or will you two have to consider relocating?

  3. Such great photos! Graduations are so important! My little brother gradded with a degree in geography about four years ago...he's the youngest in our fam, so I think we are still a ways off from anyone else convocating!

  5. Congrats to the grads! Loved the mortarboard. Next year, I'll have another grandson graduating from HS. And we just graduated 24 law students who participated in the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic. I'll miss them.
