1) You can do anything with spray paint.
2) Just in case you can't use spray paint, Mod Podge will never fail.
3) Who knew that there were so many ideas for cakes with different colored layers?
4) You can make a fabric or paper wreath for literally any holiday, season, or event.
5) Paint chips are a must have for your craft supply stash.
6) There is nothing that can't be made better with a fabric or paper flower.
7) Who knew that decorating for minor holidays like St. Patrick's Day could be so much fun?
8) Planning for future events that may not ever happen just became so much easier. Seriously, if you are 15 years old, why do you have a "for my kids someday" board?
9) When all else fails, make a casserole.
10) Everyone has turned into wannabe decorators.
What have you learned from Pinterest?
I check Pinterest for fabric trends - really important for my fabric shoppe.
ReplyDeleteThe paint chip idea great!
Dear Rose, I enjoyed this post. It shows the imagination does not have a limit. Blessings dearest. Catherine
ReplyDeletegreat post & so true! haha
ReplyDeleteI don't use Pinterest. I know it is so hot but I am more verbal than visual. I would probably focus on cat pictures.
ReplyDeleteI forget about pinterest. I do like the desserts.
ReplyDeleteI tried and didn't see the point - for me anyway. I use clipix to "store" recipes - saves me the time and trouble of cutting and pasting and my account is private so no one is going through my "stuff". I'm not too sure I get this "share my whole life on the internet" concept. Even my favorite desserts...
ReplyDeleteI love Pinterest! Sometimes it can be hard to weed through the clutter of the internet, but Pinterest makes it easy to find great ideas/things. Great post! I'm visiting from blogging buddies.
ReplyDeleteHee hee! This is brilliant - and so true!
ReplyDeleteWe use pinterest quite a lot, but it only leads us to spending a lot of money on crafty supplies :S
Thanks for stealing and sharing this, it's brilliant :D

ReplyDeleteCute idea! I try to avert my eyes from Pinterest most days ... it sucks me in so easily.
ReplyDeleteI don't use pinterest. Just don't have time, but this post is funny!
ReplyDeleteI love your post! And yes, you CAN do anything with spray paint ;) I use Pinterest for easy and cheap craft ideas to make with my daughter and for other DIY stuff that will indeed actually do for myself!

Hahahaha! I'm laughing because I'm totally guilty of the spray paint thing. Really, any kind of paint can work magic.
ReplyDeleteLove your post. Pinterest is my "picture book" bedtime story. I look at all the eye candy and don't think too much before I finally wind down and go to bed.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I've learned (well, not exactly from Pinterest, but because of it) to - not look at Pinterest if I'm hungry! I can't believe the # of creative and fantastic looking recipes that come across my screen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a post. Love it and I love Pinterest. I've seen so many great ideas and it's so much easier to keep track of the things I find
ReplyDeleteHaha. Yes to all of these. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that witch sign, I may have to make one similar!
ReplyDeleteOh, you wouldn't have caught me at 15 making a board like that. More like a places to travel board!
Loved this post, Rose! Pinterest tries to give us a way to organize all the information that abounds on the net, but sometimes I wonder if it's just giving me access to even more. I have gone back to my color inspiration boards and recipes though.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Great - and so true. I only use pinterest to pin visual images like I bookmark others. If I want to make something or do it with the grandchildren - I pin it. I haven't spent a lot of time on there looking for things, though.
ReplyDeleteI love this post. It's so true, I have learned how to do lots of cool things since I stated hanging out on Pinterest.
