ReplyDeleteYes to yellow and grey. I wanted to have the trim in my new place painted silver/grey to go with the banana cream walls but nixed idea when I saw a "sample" - didn't look as good as it sounded. The bright white trim makes the soft yellow pop even more.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo wall in the gray and yellow picture, and the whole purple and mauve setup is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI love how vibrant these all are! My favorite has got to be "Dark Green/Mauve from Linda". Another combo I'm not tired of is turquoise and red - looks retro & modern at the same time.
ReplyDeleteNice finds to go with the combinations. Honestly I would not have put orange with blue but it does pop and force me to think beyond my normal parameters.

ReplyDeleteBut I've also worked with purple and brown quite a bit in my albums. And I had a request for yellow, gray and pink and really like how it turned out as well!

Thinking of other combinations I came up with burgundy and hunter green, burgundy and navy and of course red white and blue :)

Oh, this is so inspiring! I love the yellow & gray as well as the dark green & mauve.
ReplyDeleteI also love bright (but perhaps blinding if done too strongly) combinations like: lime green, tangerine & hot pink. or bright red, apple green, and a bright purple.
