Four Seasons of Greenfield Park

At some point during 2012, I got it into my head that it would be fun to photograph some of my favorite places in Milwaukee during all four seasons of the year. Now that we've lived here over a year and a half, I've made significant progress on this little project. At the end of the January, I completed my first location for all four seasons.

I'm pretty excited about how that little collage came together. (And yes, you can view it larger...and as well as all the other photos. Just click on them.) I may try to do more with this photo set at some point, but for now, I'm sharing some additional pictures from the past couple years from Greenfield Park. Enjoy.

  3. I love that shot of the Queen Anne's Lace.

The only remotely similar photography exercise I've done is the progression of my shop photos, haha. And my what changes there have been.

  8. Those are great pictures. I love how you show summer/fall/winter pictures. I haven't done a photo project before. I am considering it because I would love to improve my skills with my camera and projects would help with that.

  10. Oh my goodness! I love to have a place to go like this! Went to parks like this in my hometown and when we lived in Texas and Missouri, but here in the Pacific Northwest everywhere is like a park! We go down to the riverside, but I still miss a designated area to walk in!

  15. Why is the tree in the sixth photo down marked with an 'x's? Is it going to be cut down? I see those all over the place here right before they get cut down. Lovely photos, by the way. :)

    1. Honestly I'm not sure. That's a logical explanation as any that I can think of. Thanks!
