Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!
I've had a lot of ideas floating around for the letter F, but as I was editing some recent photos, I decided to take it in a new direction. Since I got the 28-135mm, which has a manual focus option, I've been experimenting a lot with intentional blurring. It cracks me up when I try to get just as many crystal clear shots as I do intentionally blurred shots.
Check out what the other Alphabe participants posted this week for the letter F right here!
Nice blurs -- although they make me a little dizzy! I guess I just have to have a bit of something to focus on :D
ReplyDeleteFunny! This is what my world looks like without glasses.
ReplyDeleteI'm like Sarah, I get a bit dizzy and can't look at blurry photos much since there's nothing for my eyes to focus on. It does look like you're enjoying your new lens though!
ReplyDeleteWoah! These are crazy and, like Sarah said, a little disorienting! The shot through the fence and the lights are probably my favorites. They're really cool!
ReplyDeleteGreat blurry shots. I really like the first one and the one with the bright colors. That one reminds me of an impressionist painting.
ReplyDeleteReally neat idea... I feel like I forgot to put my contacts in lol
ReplyDeleteOMG! For a second, I thought my cataracts were back! Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteLove the level of focus used.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about completely blurry images. It hurts my eyes, and makes me feel uneasy! {:-D
ReplyDeleteOh no! My eyesight is bad enough! Somehow I often end up with lots of those photos myself. Isn't nice that with digital photography there is no waste!
ReplyDeleteack! ack! I need my glasses!
ReplyDeleteI rather like the purple and green one and the one with colored lights.
The blurriness does lend an air of mystery which can be intriguing.
Love the flower beds. The blur makes them look painted.
ReplyDeleteI like photos that show blurred people in the background, just like yours!
ReplyDeleteIt feels like I don't have my contacts in, haha. I think my eyes need one sharp feature to focus on.
ReplyDeleteI can feel it! I was using my new camera, and it wants to focus on something different than I want to, sometimes! Still have to read up on it's particular idiosyncrasies.
ReplyDeleteThese out of focus photographs are fascinating...
ReplyDeleteI bet it's a lot of fun finding things that will make good blurred shots!
Fabulous post for the letter "F".
