One of the quintessential things to do in Milwaukee is a brewery tour. Milwaukee is home to Miller as well as a handful of microbreweries. I have not done the Miller tour yet, but I have done a couple of the microbrewery tours. Here are just a few of my photos from the latest one last month at
Lakefront Brewery. Enjoy.
On the weekends, Lakefront has polka music and a fish fry.
Sometimes I get to hand my camera over without even asking and I get a great picture. It's nice.
What are some of the quintessential things to do in your area?
Thanks for the tour of the brewery, Rose!
ReplyDeleteI like that there is music as well :)
I like how you experiment with lines, shapes and abstract images. :) I don't do as much of that, but you're inspiring me to try. :)
ReplyDeletenow I have the Laverne & Shirley song running through my head! nice tour :)
ReplyDeleteCool pictures! My senior year of college I got really into brewing beer and would have been so excited to go on a brewery tour! I still think it's pretty cool, but I haven't brewed anything in years.
ReplyDeleteFun tour. And great picture of you and Jake :)
ReplyDeleteI love doing brewery tours. We did a cool one in Indy a few months ago, and we've done Two Brothers in Warrenville. It always blow my mind to hear how many cans/bottles they produce.
ReplyDeleteI do like the black and white of the lines. When I had my hubby stop the car this weekend I tried to look for those lines when I took pics. It is hard to experiment when little ones are wanting to 'help' but it is still fun to see what I can get with the camera.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of photos! I love that you did them in black and white.

What fun!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great photos!
great one of you and Jake!
The quintessential thing to do in Cincinnati is probably to go the King's Island (amusement park).
Tours can be so much fun!
I love the fact that you did these photos all in black and white--they really fit the theme. And they are definitely great photos! I have not done a brewery tour in years--the last one I did was in Germany, of all places. Never did one in Milwaukee, but it's on my bucket list (even though I don't drink beer!).
