H is for Harley

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

If you're not from Milwaukee or into motorcycles, you may or may not know that Milwaukee is home to Harley-Davidson. Since we moved here a couple years ago, I've had several opportunities to go to the Harley-Davidson Museum. I'm not into motorcycles, but I could spend all day at this museum. It is filled to the brim with fascinating history, including an amazing collection of motorcycles.

They have done a really nice job with the museum grounds.

There is something surreal about photographing Christmas lights in May.

I did a little wandering before I went in the museum during this excursion so I could take pictures of this bridge.

I'm not sure if it's the wide range of colors, but there is something about the gas tank display in the museum that really appeals to me.

If you've ever in the Milwaukee area and have a chance to visit the Harley museum, I highly recommend it!

Check out what the other Alphabe participants posted this week for the letter H right here!

  17. Wonderful photography! My grandparents lived in Milwaukee, so we would visit them every other summer...and then after getting married years later, my husband went to the Harley Davidson factory and museum. He loves Harleys and had one for several years. All of my dad's side is from Wisconsin, so we still go to visit.

It is so nice to meet you and hope you get a chance to pop over to my blog.

    Blessings & Aloha!
