Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!
This past summer Jake and I took a little trip to Madison, WI (which is only about an hour from Milwaukee). While we were there, we toured the capitol building. I hadn't seen the capitol in many years and had never toured it before. If you ever have the chance to tour a capitol building, I highly recommend it. I'm sharing a few of my pictures of the capitol today. Enjoy. (Are you interested in seeing more pictures from Madison? Head over here.)
Check out what the other Alphabe Thursday participants posted for the letter M this week right here!
Great post for M and fantastic photography ~ Happy Weekend to you ~ xxx

These are really good shots -- I especially like the first one with the reflection and the second nighttime one. Capitol buildings all seem to be packed with history and beauty.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! It's funny how capital buildings always look like that with the domed architecture/columns/etc...wonder why that is. Anyway, I didn't know about alphabe Thurs...will have to check out more posts! :)
ReplyDeleteThat stained glass is beautiful! I wonder what the Capitol looks like in Hawaii. I think it's in Honolulu, but I doubt it looks anything like what i'm used to.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! The B&W effect night shot with the capital building lit up is really nice. This makes me wanna go back to Nashville to photography our capital building.
ReplyDeleteFun to see these photos! My dad was born in Madison. =)
ReplyDeleteLoving the stained glass ceiling! When my sister and I went to Toronto last year, we visited a historical mansion with a similar feature in the atrium/greenhouse.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of Madison. One of our daughters went to university there, and we have been there many times. Always a treat!!
ReplyDeleteThe inside of that dome, and the glass dome are incredibly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing that a country still so young has such amazing architecture thank you for sharing
