Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro on Monday (5/7/12)

Welcome to another edition of the photo Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro!  Enjoy!

1) Shadow
We had a couple unseasonably warm days this past week (70s/80s), and I took a walk through the VA grounds.

2) Keys
Here are my keys in our new back door.  Jake did one coat of wood stain and will probably do at least one more at some point.

3) Smile
The hospital hosted a dinner/drinks event at a downtown restaurant on Friday night.

4) Unedited
This is Miller Park from the west side.  Most people see it from I-94, which is on the north side, or from the main road that connects to it, which is on the east side.

5) Fish
I have a lot of stickers left over from teaching and from the days that I sent more fun snail mail than I do now, which could warrant a lot of sticker use. The June BBA Challenge theme is Under the Sea so I may find a use for some of these stickers then.

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

Here's my shot for I Heart Macro.
I've been working on a large set of cards with magazine components for a new article.  More on that soon.

I am also participating in Fat Mum Slim's May Photo a Day Challenge.  I created a Pinterest board for my photos.  I'm trying to get it updated at least once a week.  I'll have a highlight of the photos here at the end of the month.

  1. I like the shadow photo--it is fun to see the design the trees left on the ground. And ugh, on the staining; I can understand why that second coat was not done right away.

  2. Hey, new door! I like it a lot. You should tell Jake he can always use tea as wood stain, ha ha.
