Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro on Monday (9/24/12)

Welcome to another edition of the photo Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro!  Enjoy!

1) Cracked
Our sweet 80+ year old next door neighbor gave us a batch of her garden tomatoes. It was definitely worth it to sort through the few cracked ones.

2) Fallen
In case I didn't already love mixed metal pieces, I have fallen in love with this concept all over again. You can read more about this right here.

3) Ordinary Color
Ordinary colors can take on extraordinary forms.

4) Bokeh
We're enjoying the flowers for a little bit longer here.

I'm using this as my shot for I Heart Macro this week.

5) Fence
I had to get a few more shots of our shared backyard fence covered with grapevines.

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

The Monthly Photo Challenge Update:
The September challenge is going strong: September Photo A Day Challenge. Go check out what I've put up so far.

Here is your weekly does of Angel. Classic Angel pose with one of her favorite items, the pole.

Where Else I Linked Up Today:

  1. I had to giggle at Angel and the pole. I love the expression on her face.

  2. Loving those mixed metals! Also Angel's pose is too cute.

  3. I would have never guessed that those were tomatoes! They look like a red pistachio or!
Your new bracelet is a lot of fun!
And Angel looks so cute with her beloved pole :)

  4. How kind of your neighbour to give you her garden tomatoes! Great shot of the cracked ones :)
The mixed metal bracelet is fantastic!
Thanks for showing the picture of Angel. She looks very sweet next to the pole!

  5. We used to have a neighbor behind us who shared his tomatoes. He and his wife have both passed away. I miss them.

  6. I didn't know those were tomatoes either. Thanks for giving me an Angel fix. She's so cute.

  7. Another group of exceptional photos...

  8. Thanks for my weekly dose of Angel. Cutest ever.

Have a terrific day. Scritches to Angel. :)

  9. Laughing about Angel! My kitties always have to sit up against something like that too;)

  10. I thought those tomatoes were some kind of nut!! Speaking of nuts.... Angel is just too cute with her pole!

  11. I thought those were red pistachios although I've never heard of red pistachios! The fire shot is lovely. Angel is too cute holding up the pole! She's such a hard worker!

  12. I wondered what that was in the first picture. I wouldn't have guessed tomatoes. Love the shot of the fire. I can sit and stare at one for hours

  13. Your cat is a doll. I thought those tomatoes looked like red pistachios too!

  14. I think those tomatoes are weird looking! Pretty bracelet. Great fire shot - is that when you were outside last weekend? And what is Bokeh? {:-D

  15. Nice collection of photos as usual! That bracelet is super cool, and I enjoyed checking out your Hub page. The Fire shot is amazing.
