E is for Eggs

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

As I considered all of the food photography that I've done the past couple years, eggs seemed to come up more frequently than many other foods. So I decided to go with it for the letter E.

January 2012, for a "one dozen" Scavenger Hunt prompt

Also January 2012, I cracked two double yokes that month.

April 2012

I only make two kinds of eggs: scrambled and hard boiled. I'm sure that I could learn to make other kinds, but it hasn't happened yet.

January 2013, during the prep for a social event that involved pound cake

I hard boiled eggs this past week and took the opportunity to get a few photos of them for this post.

June 2013

Check out what the other Alphabe participants posted this week for the letter E right here!

  15. Mmmmm, I just ate an egg! I only scramble them, too. I'm really not a fan of the fried variety because runny yolks weird me out.

  17. fun photos!
Your eggs made me think of a different kind of use. When I was in college we cracked open eggs and dissected embryos at different stages. Of course those were fertilized eggs. very interesting.

  18. You're going to laugh at my comment, but you make ordinary eggs look sexy with your photos! That being said, the only things I do with eggs is scramble, fry or boil them...and of course include them in recipes.
