O is for Old World Wisconsin

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

Earlier this summer I made my second ever excursion to Old World Wisconsin. This time I got to take Jake, who had never been before, so that was neat. Enjoy.

If you want to see a few more glimpses of Old World Wisconsin, check out my posts from last summer's excursion here and here.

Check out what the other Alphabe Thursday participants posted for the letter O this week right here!

  2. Wisconsin is one of my favorite places. It's clean, picturesque, and just a great place to live. The farm animals are adorable. I especially like the farrier and the woodworker. Very nice.

  3. I'd written a longer comment, but it disappeared. Love the photo of you two on that TALL bike -- and the antique organ. Love lambs -- I had sheep in 4-H -- we never ate lamb or mutton, but we sheared the wool and sold it.

  4. I'd love to (try to) ride a bike like those! It's always interesting to watch old-time tools and machinery being used, and crafts like spinning and candle making. Once, Noli got to use a washboard -- she thought that was pretty cool! Sweet lambs too!

  6. I love the first piano shot and the little lambs, but gosh that bicycle looks impossibly uncomfortable to ride! :-)

  7. the animals are adorable! I'm surprised they let you on the large bicycle. People at our museum would be afraid kids (and adults) would hurt themselves. Looks like you had fun! {:-D

  10. Ahahah. The lambs are so cute! I like the last one - it looks like a good roll in the hay was just too tiring.

  11. Your photos are so wonderful! Those lambs are cute! It was fun to visit you! I am happy I came by. My grandson is having a terrible difficulty right now and if you or anyone you know would be so kind and pray for Colton I would appreciate it! Enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Anne
