newsletter, flame II beads, pictures, treasury feature

I added a newsletter subscription code to my blog today.  You can now subscribe to my newsletter directly from here.  Scroll down and look for it on the right side of the page, right underneath the followers.  I am putting my August edition together right now so please sign up!

I finally took a picture of the beads that I made in my Flame II class a little over a week ago.
I'm pretty pleased with the results.  I don't have any specific projects in mind for any of them yet, but I'm sure that they will work their way into my designs soon enough.  I'm open to suggestions, too.

I edited the listing for my yellow and green stars charm bracelet today and uploaded new pictures.  It's the first listing I have with shots that are on a white background.  It's also the first listing that I have with light box pictures.  Let me know what you think.

While I was taking pictures today, I took one of Angel because I haven't posted one of her here in quite a while.

Finally, Laurie (laurelsbylaurie) included my two-hole button explosion charm bracelet in her Buttons and Bows treasury today.  Thanks Laurie!

  1. Awww, Angel is so cute!

Your beads turned out great, that bracelet looks fabulous and congrats on the treasury!

  2. Really good pictures, sharp and with good light.I still can't make such good photos :(
    What camera do you use?

  3. Your light box photo turned out fabulously! great new flame beads!
    Angel looks very comfy.

  4. You did a great job on the beads. Congrats on the treasury. I really like the music background. The pictures with the light box are great.

  5. Thanks so much Marina, Margaret, and The Bead Doodler!

Marina, I just sent you an e-mail with more info about my camera and my photos. :)

  6. I really like how your bracelet looks with the white background...stands out really well. But I would still use your music background's your "thing" :) A mix of both will work great!

We love to see photos of Angel :)

    Congrats on the treasury!!!

  7. Thanks so much Edi! I think that a mix will work well, too. :) I'll keep everyone posted on how that's going.

  8. Fantastic pictures! So sharp! I use a light box too and still can't seem to get that clarity.

  9. Thanks Debra! Are you using daylight bulbs and/or a tripod with your light box? I think that both of those things have made a big difference for me.

  10. They're my second set, but thank you! I'm very happy with the result. :)
