Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro on Monday (9/17/12)

Welcome to another edition of the photo Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro!  Enjoy!

1) Kiss
This is the back of a save the date that we have for a wedding coming up later this year.

2) Askew
I spray painted some new frames for a project this week. I decided that it would be cheaper and more cost effective to spray paint white frames that I found on sale than to search and search for the perfect set of silver frames.

3) Fragrant
Delicious yellow cake. Yep, it's a box mix. Still amazing.

4) Simple
It's great when you can enjoy the simple pleasures in life like sniffing (and munching on) the grass.

5) Plant
One of our shared backyard fences has a massive grapevine. Not many of the grapes ripened last summer, but they have ripened in abundance this year.

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

Here's my shot for I Heart Macro.
This is a sneak peek of a new project that I've been working on this month (which is what will go in one of those silver frames). I know that some of you have already seen this on Facebook. More on that soon.

  2. I'm a cake-from-a-box person, too! There's too much chemistry in baking from scratch. :-)

  3. LOL...That's what our Save the Dates would have to say too!
Can't wait to see your finished project in the frames!

  5. Lovely pics for today! And the spray-painting idea sounds like such a time-saver as opposed for searching & searching for the perfect silver frames! Way to go!

  9. That first photo is cute. I like spray painting frames too but I haven't tried them in silver yet! Angel looks like she's scoping out the purrfect spot to munch. I can't quite figure out that last photo since I see it and think of the moon's surface!

  10. I would have spray painted instead of searching too. Much easier.
Can't wait to see what that is that you're working on in your macro shot

  11. Spray painting frames is the best. I get most of my frames from the thrift store and then paint them to match. I love me some spray paint.
