in the neighborhood

Many of you already know that I love my neighborhood and am always looking for new places to take pictures around my house. Here are a few of my recent shots that are a little out of the norm for me. Enjoy.

This final picture is the bushes in our own yard. The blooms are almost done already, but they were especially fragrant this year.

What do you enjoy photographing in your neighborhood?

  1. Lovely images as always! I especially love the lilac there at the end - something about purple flowers gets me every time. ;)

  7. Beautiful! Love the tour of your neighborhood. There are train tracks out here, too. The black and white photos are really neat - great contrast! I, too, love the lilacs. Ahhhh....

  8. love the tree blossoms and the lilacs! I love lilacs. You see a few here on the West coast, but I used to see them much more when I lived in Missouri! Lots of older, old fashioned varieties in every yard in the neighborhoods there!
