V is for VA Grounds

Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!

Many of you know that one of my favorite places in Milwaukee is the VA grounds. I live very close to the grounds. As they are quite extensive, the possibilities for photography are virtually endless. When I want to take photos close to home, it's always a good choice. Here are just a few of the photos from my most recent excursion with camera in hand this fall.

Check out what the other Alphabe participants posted for the letter V this week right here!

  2. Rose! One good thing about my LONG blog break is doing my blog rounds and finding stuff like this: your lovely new (? to me anyway) layout! Gorgeous profile shot, btw, and looks like your photography skills are getting mad good!

  3. You always post the most interesting shots -- love all the rust and weathered wood.

  4. Your pictures are beautiful! I especially love the ones that show weathering. The park bench is probably my favorite.

  7. What a pretty place. I have to get in the car to go anywhere picturesque, so I'm jealous that you're so close to this!

  8. It's so cool how you can visit the same place many times and still come up with such unique shots and new angles!

  9. What a great tour of the grounds! If I'm ever in your area I will definitely look them up. It would be a fun place to get out and walk and snap some pictures just like you have.
