As I mentioned earlier this week, I made a short trip to Chicago last week for a concert. I'm hoping to get an article together about Millennium Park, but for now, you get a preview of some of my photos there. Enjoy!
What have you been photographing lately?
New article:
Ah, gorgeous! And "the bean"! I just saw a story on Anish Kapoor in last weeks CBS Sunday Morning news. I didn't know he made the Olympics sculpture thing, how cool!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I used to live in the city, but now, 60 miles out, we hardly ever get in. I do love Chicago though! Such great architecture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs. We used to visit Chicago yearly, but my in-laws are no longer, and we have not been in several years. Like a shot of home. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteFantastic pictures. We always stop by Millennium Park when we're downtown. It's a nice place to relax a bit.
ReplyDeleteIt seems I am taking a gazillion photos of my cats lately - they've been funnier than usual!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Those skyscrapers remind me of my time in the big city :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I hope your concert was great too.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. :)
Thank you for sharing your photo's Rose.

Nice photos. I like that grid looking thing--very interesting architectural element.
ReplyDeleteI love to see cityscapes, but of course my favorite shots are the flowers :)

what a great day out! Love the cafe umbrellas! {:-D
ReplyDeleteI love the different sculptures. What a beautiful park.
ReplyDeleteI love Millennium Park! I used to work in the Prudential Building right across the street. Ah, memories! Sometimes I'd sit out there and read (weather permitting, of course) before I got on the train. I do miss seeing it everyday.
ReplyDeleteThe last time we were at Millenium Park was when my German relatives visited. They took off their shoes and hopped into the fountain where the changing faces are located. Many of my photos look just like yours! It's a great park.
