How do you challenge yourself when you photograph familiar areas?

on the golf course
Of course I was taking pictures, not golfing. Surprise, right? One of my favorite places to walk and take pictures in the area is Greenfield Park. During one of my recent excursions there, I wandered through the golf course for the first time. Honestly I had never wandered through a golf course before. It was a fun experience and a great challenge for a familiar area.

Love the carts/steering wheels all lined up :)
ReplyDeleteAnd TV in the carts...wow!
I try to get better shots of things I've photographed before. Maybe better composition, camera settings, angle, or something else. Luckily I've had a lot of chances to visit new places and haven't gotten board with anywhere I like to photograph!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought to take photos at a golf course but you got some great shots! (No pun intended) You're always thinking out of the box with your photos! I've only been on two outings with my new camera so I need to change that soon!
ReplyDeleteGolf courses are some of the most beautiful places -- usually lots of flora and fauna. Sometimes the fauna includes coyotes around here! Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! You got some great photographs!
ReplyDeleteInteresting golf shots.
ReplyDeleteFocusing on details, when you're at a familiar place, is a great way to make it seem new. And really it is, since you don't usually focus on (for example) wheels. Great shots!
