Are you ready for another round of Alphabe Thursday? Let's go!
If you've been following my blog for the past couple years, you've most likely seen at least a few of my pictures of Miller Park, which is the home of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. I've only been to a couple games there, but I've found a lot of excuses to take pictures of the stadium. Here are just a few of the highlights from the past two years.
September 2012
The PM&R team from Halfaer Field after the RSA Softball Tournament
December 2012
One of my favorite spots in the Milwaukee area.
December 2012
Sometime I want to get a macro picture of that stop sign with Miller Park in the background.
April 2013
From the south side.
April 2013
I love how you can see the storm front behind the stadium.
May 2013
Shot through an old well.
Memorial Day Weekend 2013
Jake and I went to a Brewers game with my parents over Memorial Day weekend this year.
I have other pictures from inside the park but this set from Memorial Day is by far my best stuff there to date so that's what I'm sharing here today.
It had been raining off and on all day, but it let up long enough after the game that I got a few pictures of the flags on the VA grounds.
Check out what the other Alphabe participants posted for the letter M this week right here!
great photos! so alluring--makes me want to visit!
ReplyDeleteAlways great pics! I read "storm front" as "store front" and couldn't figure out what you were talking about! I really like the "south side" bleak pic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool stadium! When looking at the second photo, I found myself thinking "That is one crazy bridge in the background!" before I realized it was the stadium. There are no major league sports teams in SC (or Hawaii, for that matter), so I'm not really used to buildings that big!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures! Andy and I used to go to Dodger stadium when we lived in LA. Great memories!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots! I can totally see why you love that spot!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Beautiful ball park! I love baseball. I grew up as a Minnesota Twins fan, back in the days of Harmon Killebrew and Tony Oliva. (I saw Harmon Killebrew hit a game winning home run in the stadium that has since been demolished to become the site of the Mall of America.)
ReplyDeleteMy brother or I could get a Bye on after school livestock chores if we would keep a play-by-play scorebook of the Twins game (listening on the radio) for my dad. My husband has become a KC Royals fan, because we get ALL the Royals games in our CableTV package.
Great shots, Rose! I love the one of the statue (Dec 2012)!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many different views of Miller Park, you'd swear these are all different places, if you didn't tell us otherwise. Of course, the stadium looks the same...but really not, since you always shoot it differently. My favorite photos are the 2nd one and the one with the arch because I could see myself writing a story that begins with them.
ReplyDeletethough I'm not a baseball fan, I think the park is quite beautiful. thanks for sharing the pics.
ReplyDeletehope you have a great day.
Great photos! Especially love the trees and Miller Park.
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
Making my way through more M posts :o)
We love to go to baseball games and sure miss not having a pro team close after moving from CO where we enjoyed the Rockies at Coors Field. Guess the beer people really know how to build a stadium! Love the flags too! Great photos Rose!
ReplyDeleteThese are a magnificent collection of photographs...
ReplyDeleteYou really have a great eye for capturing amazing images!
