Saturday Link List

Here is this week's edition of my link list.  Enjoy!

If you haven't been to this site before, you're missing out.  There is also a Regretsy book available, which I've had the privilege to preview at the library.  It may seem anti-Etsy to promote a site link this, but that really isn't the point.  If you've spent any time browsing on Etsy, you know that there is an amazing amount of talent there.  You also know that there are a lot of really weird items there.  This site highlights some of them for you.  Be prepared for some good laughs.

I guess that this counts as a resource.  I'm not sure that I need to give out lots of bead resources for those of you who are like me and don't need more resources, but I thought that I'd put it out there.  One of the many areas of the Art Beads site that I enjoy is this limited edition glass section.  The selection changes pretty frequently so it's worth checking in regularly.  If you're already placing an order, you won't be able to resist adding a couple packs of beads from this section.

Margie's web site is so much more than a place to promote her books and PDFs.  Just a few things that she offers there include free patterns, previews for her classes, video tutorials, and her column Margie's Muse.  I don't buy a lot of crafty books because I'd rather put my money toward beads, but I do own The Beader's Color Palette and recommend it to anyone.

I'm trying to switch up the tutorials that I include here so you don't get links from the same sites over and over.  I hadn't featured anything from Erika's new site yet, though.  This tutorial is super easy and can be customized in just about any way you like.

Catherine's blog is another great one to follow if you're not already.  The college that I attended for undergrad served a wonderful broccoli cheese soup in their cafeterias.  I would love to start making it at home myself.

  3. I love the comments on Regretsy more than Regretsy itself, but there's a little-known blog that's been out of commission for over 2 years called Ugly Sh*t on Etsy-talk about uproarious!

Catherine's blog makes me gain 10 pounds with every visit:)
