Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro on Monday (8/13/12)

Welcome to another edition of the photo Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro!  Enjoy!

1) Mobile (Phone)
Of course the first time that we saw a rainbow in Milwaukee, I didn't even have my phone with me, let alone my camera.  This picture is from Jake's phone.  We were in front of the VA when this happened.  Getting to see the veterans' reaction to the rainbow was priceless.  They were beyond excited.

2) Hanging By a Thread
Literally.  I'm really bad about making time to complete functional sewing projects that only take a few minutes.

3) Collage
Recently I took the summer shot for this unofficial set.  I'll have to get a winter shot this year.

4) Always Look On the Bright Side
Angel always looks on the bright side when we're eating, even when she has no interest in any particular food in the meal or snack.

5) Home
Nothing says home like home cooked food.  This is one of my all time favorite meals.

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

Here's my shot for I Heart Macro this week.

  4. Rainbows are so beautiful -- they always renew my faith whenever I see one! And your pasta salad looks delicious -- hmmm, I am hungry for lunch right about now!!

  5. The rainbow is a great shot and I had to laugh at the button photo. I am terrible at those 'simple' projects and tend to tackle the bigger ones first.

  6. another fabulous set! I could've done the hanging by a thread shot just like yours! This week, I actually sewed a button that was about to fall off. (That's because it's a favorite shirt and I wanted to wear it.)
    What a spectacular rainbow!
It's always a treat o see sweet Angel!
