Lake Geneva birthday excursion

Jake and I took a little trip to Lake Geneva at the end of March for my birthday. One of the many things that I love about where we live is that there are beautiful, interesting places to take trips just an hour or two away that don't break the bank. Lake Geneva is a great option. It was great to get away during the week for my birthday and take in the area before it gets flooded with tourists. Enjoy.

What have you been photographing lately?

  4. I love that first lamp! It is so beautiful. Also, everything looks way too cold for me! I am thrilled that the weather in my vacation destination is the mdi to upper 80s. As long as there's a little humidity and there isn't too much cloud cover, I shouldn't be actually cold =)

  6. I love Lake Geneva, it's usually our first day trip we take in the Spring. Very nice photos, they make me wish it would hurry up and warm up so we can head that way.

  9. Looks like a fun trip! My husband and I used to take lots of little day trips like that when we lived in IN. Now that we're in TX it seems harder because everything is just so much farther away!
