the making of Chai tea cupcakes

I never imagined when I got serious about improving my photography skills that I would enjoy taking pictures of food. I enjoy cooking and baking (particularly the latter) and have fun capturing some of my endeavors. Recently I've been on a bit of a quest to find some new dessert recipes that don't include chocolate. Om's Chai Tea Cupcakes were one of my newest projects. I've made two batches now, which have gotten rave reviews, even from those who don't love drinking Chai tea. The tea flavor is subtle and complemented nicely by the orange and cinnamon.

    Great photos Rose! I'm so messy that I don't think photos of my baking would look so yummy! :) I've been craving snickerdoodles so I'll probably be baking some of them soon.

    Beautiful photos! I'm still working on my food photography in a major way! It probably doesn't help that my kitchen is small, unattractive, and about as well lit as your average cupboard.
